Iranian Election

I've been trying to follow the Iranian election for a few days now and it saddens me to see such arrogance coming from Iranian Religious Leaders.

The people of Iran, defiant and brave, have been opposing the official elections results for a week now, and it seems that even though they are doing their best, they are slowly loosing ground to the fanatic followers of the current Regime.

The question is, what can we do for the Iranian people?

Well, in my opinion we have to be carefull to not intervine with armed forces, in fact using armed forces should be a last resort option, only used in cases like if the iranian people was being mass murdered under their current regime, (to stop a new pol pot for example) and in most cases an armed response will just cause more trouble in the region (just look at the outcome of the Iraqian invasion).

Personally I think that the only way forward is to support the people in Iran that wants a change, a change for a better Iran to live in with less oppression and more freedom. We need to help them get their voices out, to get them to be heard and to shelter them when they need to be sheltered.

A way to do this is to not forget the Iranian people, to keep talking about them, to keep supporting them and to remember our Politicians that we won't allow them to sit empty handed and stare while the Iranian people suffers and dies.
